Lindsay Groves is an extraordinary passionate wine professional and she is recognized among the most promising young Sommeliers in Canada. Having worked both as a Sommelier on the restaurant floor as well as Sales Representative for the wine trade, she is familiar with both sides of the business and is therefore highly qualified to develop and implement wine programmes for the hospitality industry. During her successful work at a world-class restaurant in Toronto, she was awarded "Sommelier of the Year”.
Lindsay is currently working as Associate Wine Director for the Toronto “Salut Wine + Food Festival”. After having completed several renowned wine and sommelier diplomas, she is now continuing her study for the Master of Wine qualification, and she is looking for a position that would be supportive.
She was over to India last May for the Mumbai wine show and wil be visiting The Westin Pune Koregaon Park on Saturday Sep 24, 2011 to offer her expertise to the hotel's guests.
