Sleepless in Seattle would be an understated fact for Chef Santosh Jori as per the magnanimous scale of Global Rendezvous 2012 by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. event that took place in May 30 - June 2, 2012. Chef Jori was the only Asian let alone representing Indian hospitality solely on the global stage rubbing shoulders with industry's best around the world.
Global Rendezvous - Rendezvous is Starwood Hotels' signature global client event. The attendees represents Starwood’s 250 top clients from around the world. Clients represent all market segments: Leisure, Group and Transient. Clients are key decision makers for their organization/company. In addition there are 250 Starwood and sponsor attendees. Starwood attendees are GM’s, DOSM’s, global and divisional sales team and key corporate leadership teams. Rendezvous allows the Starwood teams to update clients on Starwood’s current direction as company as well as connect top clients to our hotels and sponsors, book business. It is an event where gratitude and recognition towards our clients for their business is extended. In addition for 2012 promoting Starwood’s Sustainable message has been key initiative.
Global Rendezvous 2012 - This year the event was held at Sheraton Seattle and W Seattle.
